The celebration runs Thursday through Sunday, October 1–4. If you can come for the whole weekend, we’d love that — but come for whatever you can.
Rather than a small rehearsal dinner for the wedding party, we wanted to open Friday evening to everyone — because if you’ve traveled to be with us, we’d like to actually spend time with you before the day itself gets busy. So consider yourself invited. We’ll gather in the Great Room and out on Patio del Sol, where there’ll be food — plenty of it — served as stations and a relaxed spread rather than a seated dinner. Come hungry; it’s dinner in everything but format. There’ll be drinks, easy conversation, and fire tables on the patio to gather around as the evening cools. Dress is resort-casual — that easy middle between resort wear and smart casual, dressed for warm weather. Think a sundress or linen for the ladies, a golf or button-up shirt for the gentlemen — comfortable and put-together. Saturday will be a touch dressier, but nothing about this weekend is stiff.
Dressy but relaxed. The ceremony is lakeside and outdoors, so think of something you’d wear to a beautiful evening in a garden — elegant, but not stiff. The ground is grass and brick, so you may want to reconsider thin heels.
We’ve held a block of rooms at Mission Resort + Club, where all the weekend’s events take place. Details are on the Travel section. Nearby Mount Dora also has lovely inns if you’d prefer.
Yes — there’s ample free parking at the resort as well as at Marina del Rey.
Central Florida in early October is warm and lovely — days in the mid-80s, evenings soft and comfortable. You may want a light layer for after sunset.
Both. Friday night we’ll be in the Great Room, which spills out onto the Patio del Sol. The ceremony is outdoors by the lake; dinner and dancing move into the pavilion. Come ready to be outside for part of the evening.

The nearest airport is Orlando International (MCO), about an hour away. From there it’s a straightforward drive northwest to Howey-in-the-Hills. Uber/Lyft are readily available, and all the major car rental companies are at your service.
We’ve held a block of rooms for our guests at a discounted rate under the Levine-Phillip Wedding. All the weekend’s events take place here, so staying on-site is the easiest way to enjoy it.

Alan is a golf professional, and Mission is his home course — so it wouldn’t be a proper weekend in the hills without a round or two. He’s hosting two morning outings, and everyone is welcome, whether you play to a handicap or just want the walk, the views, and the company.
Thursday and Friday mornings, on Mission’s two championship courses — one each day, so you’ll get to play both.
